Good Days was created in the late 1990s by lyricist Che Hang and composer Li Xin. It was first performed by the famous soprano Song Zuying at the 1997 CCTV Spring Festival Gala.

The song immediately became popular across China for its bright melody and uplifting message.

It celebrates the joy of life and expresses people’s happiness in the new era, as well as their hope for a prosperous future. Since its release, Good Days has been widely used in weddings, festivals, and public celebrations throughout China.
