Jasmine Flower" (Mòlihuā) is arguably the most iconic and internationally recognised piece of Chinese traditional music. More than just a folk song, it is a cultural symbol of China, known for its beautiful, delicate, and graceful melody that evokes the image of its namesake flower: pure, fragrant, and beloved.

This was a joint performance held at the Sydney Opera House on 9th Aug 2025,  conducted by the renowned composer Yang Chunlin from the China Oriental Song and Dance Ensemble. It was a collaborative effort by Chinese music groups from various parts of Australia and New Zealand, with the MCO sending five performers from Melbourne to participate in the performance.
