“Weishan Lake” is a well-known Chinese revolutionary song written in the early 1950s.

It was inspired by the heroic deeds of the Railway Guerrillas — resistance fighters who operated around Weishan Lake, a vast wetland area in Shandong Province, during the War of Resistance against Japan (1937–1945).

The lake, surrounded by reeds and waterways, served as a natural shelter for the guerrillas, and the song pays tribute to their courage, patriotism, and love for their homeland.
